About Serene Sicily
Our Vision for Authentic Travel in Sicily
Serene Sicily was founded by two local, licensed private drivers in Sicily: Sebastiano and Bruno.
Separately, Sebastiano and Bruno had each created their own private tour and transfer businesses: Go Sicily and Transfer Service.
But they wanted to find a way to make Sicily accessible to more people. So they teamed up with a locally-based American, Camellia, to dream up Serene Sicily.

Co-Founder
Sebastiano Cacici
After a career as a professional diver, Sebastiano founded his first private tour and transfer service, Go Sicily NCC, in 2015. For the past decade, he's been helping individual travelers, businesses, travel agents, and tour groups discover the magic of Sicily.
Originally from Catania and Siracusa, today Sebastiano lives in the hillside village of Melilli (where he moved for his beautiful wife).

Co-Founder
Bruno
Born and raised in Siracusa, Sicily, Bruno has long dreamt of being a private driver (though he also studied accounting). He started his professional driving career as a tour bus driver, then moved up to driving for Interbus, one of the biggest bus lines operating in Sicily. In 2008, he founded his own business, Transfer Service.

Camellia Phillips
Camellia (pictured with her father) is an American living in the village of Melilli, Sicily, where her father-in-law was born and raised.
After a 20-year career in nonprofit fundraising, Camellia moved to Sicily with her novelist husband in search of a more humane pace of life. She fell instantly in love with the island and is eager to help others do the same.
